The Lego Mindstorms is a robotics system made by the Lego company. The system is comprised of a small computer and a set of motors and inputs. The Lego Mindstorms can be combined with different Lego Components to make a wide selection of different robotic forms and shapes, from a humanoid robot shape to a small, car-like vehicle.

The Lego Mindstorms is a creative, educational tool which enhances children’s imaginations in encouraging them to explore the endless possibilities of Lego but also greatly enhances their skills in mathematical and logical thinking without them even realizing it. The imagination dreams up the things we can make a robot do and children will find themselves picking up the skills of robotics just making those ideas a reality.

Lego Mindstorms will cost approx. 28,000Rs in India and In the UK the price of the system usually comes to around 300 Pounds.

The Lego Mindstorms Course will act as the perfect introduction to robotics for students who have an interest in this new technology but also is designed to get children invested in robotics and learning without any prior knowledge of the subject. Working with this new technology will not only help students’ logical thinking but also make this learning experience fun, encouraging children to learn as they play in their own time.

The Lego Mindstorms computer connects to a computer using a mini-USB cable. In order to be compatible with the computer, however, you will need to download the EV3 software from the Lego Mindstorms website.

Lego Mindstorms will teach children how to make their robots perform several different functions including movement, measurement of your robot’s surroundings using sensors and digital animation.

The Lego Mindstorms computer is designed to be compatible with Lego bricks, fitting comfortably, with construction, into a Lego frame which becomes the centre-piece of the Lego Mindstorms robot.

Lego Mindstorms is a 6 week course structure, starting from the basics of Lego to developing real-time applications.

The Lego Mindstorms has its own programming interface. The software at present is only available in English but the majority of the software uses symbols instead of words to represent its components making it easy to understand to people regardless of their language skills. The Lego Mindstormscourse will be translated into Hindi, Punjabi, Kannada and Marathi languages. We can further integrate scratch programming with Lego Mindstormsss.

To cancel your subscription you need to first log in your account then go to account settings. There you will find an option for cancelling your subscription.

The Lego Mindstorms product is not recommended for children under the age of ten but is available to people of all ages. One must simply be aware of the small parts of Lego sets which could be a choking hazard if not properly handled. Our recommended age for students would be a minimum of seven years old in order for them to be able to comprehend the technology.

When students enroll in our course they will receive a Username and Password for complete access to our community platform. Students from disadvantaged backgrounds will also receive Free Lego Random Kits as part of the Creative India campaign.

Students will log in to their accounts using the username and password provided to them. Using the Community Platform, students will have the opportunity to share their knowledge of the product and the technology with each other by sharing their programs and asking each other questions.
